What is permanent jewelry?

Welding is used to permanently join the jewelry using a pulse-arc micro welder. Pulse-arc welding (also called micro TIG) delivers very short electrical pulses that keep overall heat extremely low, preventing distortion of thin chains. The process creates a highly localized electrical arc that heats only the jump ring for milliseconds, with no open flame. It requires no solder and no flux, and when performed correctly, it is safe to use on skin.

               How the process works:
  1. Measure chain directly on wrist/ankle/neck

  2. Insert Leather Safety Patch between skin and jewelry contact.

  3. Cut chain to exact length

  4. Insert a small jump ring

  5. Position jump ring ends together

  6. Micro-welder fires a brief arc

  7. Jump ring fuses shut

  8. Area is cooled immediately

Total heat exposure: milliseconds

Why it’s called “permanent”

  • - No clasp to open.
  • - Can be removed with scissors if needed.
  • - Often reapplied later.

  • “Permanent” refers to intent, not irreversibility
